Celebrate summer’s delicious abundance with a 6-course tasting menu experience showcasing the sensory power of herbs—hosted by Heather Crosby and Jen Rolston in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

Immerse yourself in nature and re/discover the versatility and creativity of herbs. We’ll dine together outdoors and also have time to enjoy mocktails, tea, and a stroll around beautiful gardens.

This is a curated, special event for 10 guests. Space is limited.

Menu is subject to change depending on ingredient availability. Everything will be 100% plant-based and gluten-free, with the exception of local eggs and use of local honey.

  • Naked herbs: an official tasting of a variety of common, and not-so common, herbs

  • Chilled Cantaloupe Soup with Mint

  • Peach & Avocado Summer Salad with Tarragon Dressing, Crispy Shallots, Johnnycake

  • Smashed Crispy Potato with Lentil Sausage, Pesto, and Seared Mushrooms

  • Spicy Chili Crunch Forbidden Rice Noodles with Jammy Egg and Herb-y “Caviar”

    *featured herbs: anise hyssop, mint, basil, and more

  • Lemon Verbena Granita

  • Sticky Miso Caramel & Thyme Cake with Sweet Corn Ice Cream, Blackberry Coulis, Sesame Florentine Crisp

  • Bronze Fennel-top and Candyleaf tea and wander through the gardens
