Cultivating the re/connection of nature, self, and community through horticulture for mental wellbeing and quality of life.

Horticulture
is Therapy.

WHAT IS HORTICULTURAL THERAPY?

You’ve likely heard of Art Therapy, Music Therapy, or Equine Therapy…

Horticultural Therapy (aka HT) is similar, in that it’s a very specialized treatment modality, but instead of paints or guitar, it uses plant-related activities as tools to help people meet therapeutic, vocational, and wellness goals.

Garden-based activities and time spent with nature have been scientifically proven to reduce stress and depression, minimize feelings of isolation, and bring more joy and connection to our lives.

As a Horticultural Therapy Practitioner, my background in good food and design helps me bring a creative approach to sharing the healing benefits of the garden.

I work with groups, one-on-one, and with my community to re/connect people to themselves (and others) by reconnecting with nature.
